Transit is not done by Dimexco, as we use a Carriers and shipping services with access to over 100 different LTL and small parcel Carriers. Non-Insurance is included, additional insurance can be purchased at the time of booking at extra fees.
Payable prior to Shipping and subject to any discrepancy in weight or dimensions, additional charges may apply, based on Reclassification of Freight Class or any extra handling charges that may arise due to shipper or consignee errors or omissions.
Customs, duty and brokerage not included (if any).
Transit times are estimated.
Pick up and delivery times are not guaranteed.
All LTL or FTL shipments must be skidded & shrink wrapped and/or crated. No exceptions.
All small parcels MUST BE wrapped in cardboard or put in a cardboard box. No Exceptions.
Transit is By LTL Common Carrier, Will provide name and Tracking information once shipped.
Damage must be noted in the proper place on the Bill of Lading and signed by Customer regardless of weather conditions, time of day or day of week. Signing the Bill of Lading without notation of any damage verifies that Customer has received his cargo in satisfactory condition, and that DIMEXCO/Carrier and their agents are relieved of any further responsibility. All claims must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of delivery. Customer agrees that Dimexco Inc. is not liable for any property damage claims to Customer’s cargo and that his, her or its sole remedy is against the Carrier.
Unwarranted or unreasonable cancellations, or customers failing to read the booking notes/details wishing to cancel due to their own negligence will be charged a flat rate cancellation fee of U$100.00. Make sure you're ready to book transportation before hiring us and read all of the bid notes so you know what you're contracting us for. No exceptions
Shipments crossing the border (Canada/USA) will require a customs broker. We can provide contacts upon booking a shipment with us if you do not have a Customs Broker.
